Woman Attacks Father-in-law With Chilli Powder in Tirupati

Tirupati: A woman along with her husband brutally assaulted her father-in-law in the city on Tuesday. As per the details, the elderly man was attacked by his son and daughter-in-law in broad daylight.

While the son rained heavy blows with an iron rod on his father, his wife also joined in the scuffle. With the support of her husband, the woman also attacked her father-in-law and threw chilli powder into his eyes. The woman's brother also was seen attacking the old man. The whole incident is learned to have taken place over a property dispute.

The latest reports suggest that the victim was rushed to Ruia Government General Hospital in Tirupati, where he is currently undergoing treatment. The police have registered a case against the couple and have arrested them, based on the complaint filed by the victim. Further details are awaited.
