AP Minister’s Wife Refuses To Pay Toll Fee, Argues With Toll Authorities
Nalgonda: Andhra Pradesh's Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao's wife, Venkata Kumari got into a heated argument with the toll authorities on Friday.
As per the reports, Venkata Kumari was heading to Nalgonda from Guntur on May 17. When she was asked to pay the toll fees at the toll gate, she refused to do so and even reportedly warned the toll authorities to let her go as she is the wife of the Civil Supplies Minister.
Further, Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao's wife reportedly said that MLAs should not pay the toll fees and the vehicles are free to cross the toll gate. However, the authorities asserted that the vehicle cannot be allowed to pass the toll plaza unless the toll fee is paid, as per the rules. Following this, a huge argument ensued between the Minister's wife and the toll authorities.
The video of the incident showing Prathipati Pulla Rao's wife arguing with the toll authorities is being widely circulated on social media.
