Rushikonda Rave Party: Four More Peddlers Arrested

Visakhapatnam: Four more drug peddlers were arrested on Wednesday in connection to the rave party that took place at Rushikonda Beach on Saturday night. The Commissioner’s Task Force (CTF) also serized one gram of cocaine, 9.7 grams of MDMA powder and five LSD blots from their possession.

Earlier this week, a person named Manukonda Satyanarayana was arrested and upon interrogation, four more suspects were nabbed.

Around 50-60 youngsters were found at the rave party held near the beach with the police detaining one person on Saturday night. Police sources stated that many youngsters in the city have become addicted to drugs such as LSD and MDMA.

In the wake of reports doing the rounds that a son of a political leader had organised the party, the police informed that the party had no involvement of the children of political leaders.

The ACP further said that efforts are underway to nab the remaining peddlers and the case will be more profoundly investigated.
