On Children’s Day, YS Jagan Vows To Make AP A Safer Place
Vizainagaram: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YRSCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wished all the children of the state ,on the occasion of Children's day.
In an early morning tweet, the people's leader vowed to make Andhra Pradesh a safer place for them.
Happy children’s day! For your sake, I vow to make our state a better place for you to grow up and flourish in, he wrote taking to his Twitter handle.
The YSR Congress Party president, at the time of the YSRCP plenary promised that if voted to power, he would initiate 9 programs for the welfare of people, one of which was Amma Vodi–a scheme to give stipend to students every month.
Students from Class I to V would be given Rs 500, Class V to Class X would be given Rs 750 and Intermediate students would get Rs 1,000 per month, he had said.
