Chandrababu Govt Had Failed Miserably: Vellampalli Srinivas

SRCP spokesperson Vellampalli Srinivas - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Vellampalli Srinivas said that sarees had gone missing from Durga temple for sometime now, yet it was surprising that the government had not taken any action to stop it. Speaking to me here today, he said that all the activities in the temple were operated under the supervision of Buddha Venkanna and that was the reason the police had not initiated any action in the case.

The YSRCP spokesperson said that despite the questionable behaviour of temple executive body members, the government remained a silent spectator. He demanded to know what was happening in Durga temple. "Earlier it was the tantrik pooja and now the missing saree." The onus is on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to offer a proper explanation on the issue, he said.

He further said that the tantrik pooja was performed for the sake of Nara Lokesh and that was the reason no cases were filed against anyone.

Later, YSRCP leader Malladi Vishnu told the media that people are very much aware for whose benefit certain section of media was working. He questioned as to why Yanamala Ramakrishnudu had not replied to the issues raised in YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's open letter. While YSRCP was fighting for Special Category Status (SCS) to AP, the TDP without any concern was continuing its friendship with BJP, he alleged. Chandrababu government had failed miserably, he added.
