People Should Revolt Against Govt: Pawan

Amaravati: Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan called on the farmers of Amaravati to revolt against the government for grabbing their lands of the hapless farmers in the name of implementing the land pooling act. The Jana Sena chief met with farmers of Amaravati today and discussed the problems they were facing.

Later speaking to media, Pawan Kalyan said these lands were capable of yielding three harvests per year and these were being grabbed by the government. It was unfortunate that government was trying portray such fertile lands as wasteland and was taking it away from the farmers. What does minister Narayana know about agriculture and farmers, he questioned.

He further said that government should put a full stop to its greed for land. It was illegally grabbing the lands of the farmers, he said and added that TDP was acting dictatorially in the villages under Capital Region development Authority (CRDA). Pawan Kalyan said the government was acting as there should be yet another Singur agitation and Basheerbagh firing incidents once again, he added.
