Nayee Brahmins Demand Chandrababu’s Apology

Amaravati: The All India Nayee Brahmin Association has demanded an unconditional apology from Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to their community for his derogatory remarks against the Nayee Brahmins, when a group of their members went to meet the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.

The association national president Ravindra Rana said that if Chandrababu failed to apologise, the community members would not let him step into New Delhi.

Speaking to media here today, Rana said the remarks against the Nayee Brahmins by Chandrababu had hurt the sentiments of the entire community across the country. He said it was unpardonable that even after having made those derogatory remarks against the community a month ago, the AP CM has not come forward to apologise.

He further said if Chandrababu does not submit his unconditional apology, the Nayee Brahmin community would boycott TDP in the next elections. The community association gave a deadline of two days for AP CM to settle the issue else the Nayee Brahmin community members would hold a protest across the country, he added.
