Rains In Next 48 Hours In Telugu States: IMD

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rains in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the next 48 hours. Few places in Telangana and many in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions are expected to receive rains, as a result of low pressure.

According to the officials, the arrival of monsoon one week ahead of schedule may fetch heavy rains across the country this season. Private Meteorological wing Skymate also warns of similar conditions.
