Housing For Poor Is Our Flagship Scheme, Take It As Top Priority: YS Jagan
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday called upon the administration to take housing for poor as a top priority as it is a flagship scheme.
During a review meeting on YSR Rythu Bharosa at Secretariat, he asked the officials put maximum efforts to make housing for poor as a grand event and complete it by Ugadi. “Everyone in the country are talking about our housing scheme, make it as a flagship and give it top priority among other schemes”-he emphasized. He also added that the scheme and other welfare schemes reflect the ruling of YSR Congress government.
The Chief Minister asked every official to conduct social audit in every village. “If there are any leftovers in Rythu Bharosa applications, do consider those applications by farmers immediately.
The government has extended the deadline till 15 December as more number of tenant farmers will apply for Rythu Bharosa”-he told all the district administrations. While giving emphasis on flagship programme, the Chief Minister asked the district Collectors, “Housing for poor by Ugadi is our flagship programme.
Concentrate on that and give top priority. We put all our efforts till now, but the next four months are very crucial for us to complete this programme as the entire country is looking towards us”. He directed Revenue machinery to identify government lands or even private lands for construction of houses for the poor.
