Sattupalli Businessman Accuses Kodela Daughter Vijayalakshmi Of Cheating

Narasaraopet: A businessman from Sattupally in Telangana charged former speaker of AP assembly Kodela Sivaprasada Rao’s daughter Vijayalakshmi of cheating him by non-payment of dues after he had supplied surgical cotton to her firm. According to Challa Ravinder Reddy, a businessman from Khammam, he was also attacked by her henchmen when he went to Narasaraopet to seek payment. Vijayalakshmi reportedly told him that he had no evidence with him to prove that he had supplied surgical cotton or that she had not paid him for the same.

Ravinder Reddy told Sakshi TV that payments were getting delayed over the last three years and that an amount of close to Rs.15 lakhs was pending for last year’s supply. At first the former speaker‘s daughter is said to have told him that delays take place in business establishments. Later however, she became defiant and told him that he had no evidence and that she was not liable to pay.

Narasaraopet police have registered a case and are probing the matter. It may be pointed out that six previous cases of this nature are already pending against members of the former speaker’s family.
