Chandrababu Faces Hostile Crowds On Tour Of Flood-Affected Areas

N Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Kolluru, Bhattiprolu (Vemuru): Former chief minister and TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu reportedly shouted at flood victims who tried to voice their problems to him telling them to "get work done by their ministers. If you shout here, I will not spare you, beware. How dare you reply to me." The TDP chief was touring flood-affected areas in Kolluru and Bhattiprolu mandals of Guntur district.

Chandrababu experienced hostility from crowds in some places. For instance, when he said angrily in Potarlanka of Kollur mandal that ministers, MLAs/MLCs and officials did not enter villages and left the poor to fend for themselves, people refuted this statement of his.

The villagers said that people's representatives have been taking up relief measures and that apart from food and water supplies, they have been setting up health camps. Chandrababu got irritated when they said this and shouted at them asking them not to say anything. He said he had not come to talk about politics, but to fight for the poor. He further threatened them will palpable indignation that he will teach them a lesson and not spare anyone, be it them or ministers or public representatives.

In response local villagers raised slogans of "Jai Jagan." When Chandrababu asked people in Tippalakatta to tell him about problems they faced, the villagers responded by citing the difficulties they faced due to indiscriminate sand mining under the watch of former TDP MLA Nakka Ananda Babu.
