YSRCP MLA RK Complains To Police Over Threats On Social Media
Amaravati: Mangalagiri YSR Congress Party MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy lodged a complaint with the Tadepalli police seeking action against those behind objectionable posts on social media. Addressing the media, RK said that some individuals posted of a threatening nature with regard to him on social media. These posts were made in the name of Nani Chowdary and Lokesh team. The MLA and CRDA chairman said that he had been threatened in these posts saying their (YSRCP) leader would be sent to prison and that he (RK) would be killed and driven away from Mangalagiri.
RK told media persons that he had lodged a formal complaint with the police seeking action against those behind such posts. He said that his life was in danger and he therefore, sought security.
The Mangalagiri MLA said that he was touring the areas submerged along the banks of river Krishna as they formed a part of his constituency. He added that Chandrababu was living in an illegally constructed house, but that he did not go into the building.
RK expressed his anger at the fact that the TDP leaders had problems with the fact that he was touring flood-affected places. Chandrababu and his son, Nara Lokesh were still unable to digest the verdict handed down by the people of Andhra Pradesh, he said. The Mangalagiri MLA advised Nara Lokesh to refrain from playing politics through social media.
