YS Jagan Makes A Pitch For More National Highways In the State
New Delhi: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called on Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday to request necessary funds for the development of national highways in the State.
The meeting which lasted for an hour also saw the attendance of YSRCP MPs Vijayasai Reddy, Mithun Reddy, Balashouri, Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju and top officials from the State government. Prior to the meeting with Gadkari, YS Jagan met Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and President Ramnath Kovind.
YS Jagan who has been in the national capital, New Delhi, from Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the first day to press for the Special Status for the State. He also represented to Modi about the pending projects and funds that required the intervention of the Centre.
