Vijayawada: BJP Andhra Pradesh unit vice president Vishnuvardhan Reddy hit out Vijayawada MP and TDP leader Kesineni Nani for voicing his opinion on Jammu and Kashmir.

Taking to Twitter Nani wrote: "I have a special association with Kashmir. The love, affection, respect and warmth shown by Kashmiris surprise us. Kashmir is a paradise on earth. Only time will tell if the decision taken by the BJP government will benefit Kashmir and the country at large."

A picture of him with Kashmiris and former chief minister Farooq Abdullah were also embedded with the tweet.

Taking objection to Nani's tweet, Reddy said the former was showing his frustration and intolerance towards the current BJP government when the whole of the country was hailing the decision and Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. "He is resorting to cheap politics through Twitter. Is he aware of politics in Kashmir?" he pointedly questioned Nani.

Continuing with his tirade, the BJP leader said Nani was talking nonsense as he had become bankrupt financially. The people of Vijayawada were ashamed of electing such a man as their MP.

Directing his ire at leaders of Communist parties CPI (M) Madhu and CPI Ramakrishna, he said they should leave the country as they were talking only in support of Pakistan and China.
