TDP Leaders Perturbed By Reverse Tendering: Vijayasai Reddy
Amaravati: YSRCP general secretary Vijayasai Reddy remarked that there was chill down the spines of TDP leaders as Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered for reverse tendering in order to uncover the irregularities that had taken place in irrigation projects.
Talking to Twitter on Thursday and pointing out at the former Irrigation minister Devineni Uma, he said: "Uma, are you and your leader Chandrababu Naidu having chill down your spines because of the ensuing reverse trending with regard to works of different projects? You will pay every rupee which you had siphoned off from Polavaram works. Unlike you people, CM YS Jagan doesn't have the weakness of discriminating people on basis of religion and caste."
Allegations abound that massive irregularities and corruption had taken place in Polavaram works during the TDP regime. It is in this context Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered for reverse tendering to save the public exchequer.
Vijayasai Reddy further accused Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP leaders of spreading canards that reverse tendering would have an adverse impact on investments and corporates setting up their shops in the State.
