Jakkampudi Raja Appointed Kapu Corporation Chairman

Amaravati: The State government appointed Rajanagaram MLA Jakkampudi Raja as the chairman of Andhra Pradesh Kapu Corporation. Orders have been issued to this effect on Monday.

Jakkampudi Raja thanked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for entrusting him with the responsibility. Raja is the son of Jakkampudi Rammohan, who shared a close relationship with former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

The Jakkampudi family has been closely associated with YSRCP and YS Jagan since the inception of the party. Several Kapu leaders expressed their happiness over the appointment.
