APCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy Requests AICC To Accept His Resignation Immediately
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy met AICC general secretary (organisation) K Venugopal and requested that his resignation from the post be accepted immediately.
Raghuveera met Venugopal in Bengaluru on Monday , the PCC said in a release here. The former minister tendered his resignation from the PCC chief's post on May 19, citing personal preoccupation in his native village in Anantapur district."As such, I cannot take active part in party affairs for at least six months.

I will extend all cooperation to whoever is appointed as my successor," Raghuveera told Venugopal. Raghuveera Reddy, a veteran leader of the Congress, had been serving as the state party chief since the state bifurcation in 2014. (PTI)
