Jolt To TDP: Satish Prabhakar Resigns As MLC And From Party

Amaravati: In another jolt to TDP, Annam Satish Prabhakar resigned as MLC and also to the TDP membership. He is regarded as one of the TDP's senior leader, who had unsuccessfully contested against YSRCP's Kona Raghupati and lost from Bapatla Assembly in 2014.

Satish Prabhakar's resignation left the Guntur unit of TDP in complete disarray. This is, in fact, second such resignation of senior TDP leader following Chandu Sambhasiva Rao quitting the party. Rao is expected to join BJP soon. They expressed serious dissatisfaction over the functioning of party top leadership, particularly that of Chandrababu Naidu.
