YS Jagan Reviews Functioning Of Education Department in AP
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review meeting with the education department officials, on Thursday.
The State Minister of Education Adimulapu Suresh along with Aditya Nath Das, Principal Secretary, Department of School Education and other officials of the State Secondary School, Intermediate and Higher Education Boards participated in the review meeting.
The CM is said to have had discussions with the authorities about the problems faced in government schools. He had instructed officials to look into these issues and had also directed them to take measures to modernize schools and improve infrastructure.
YS Jagan also discussed the modalities of how the Amma Vodi plan was to be implemented with the officials.
He had asked the officials to design programmes for transformation of the Intermediate and higher education sector. As mentioned in the YSRCP Navaratnalu and in his policy for the Education sector, infrastructure and quality were the important pillars for the improvement of the education scenario in the State.
