Kadapa: With YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the helm as Chief Minister, the Brahmani Steel Factory would be completed in six months and the youth in the district would be given employment. Seven villages that are on the verge of submersion because of the Gandikota project would be given Rs 10 lakh compensation, YSRCP MLA from Jammalamadugu MLA Dr M Sudheer Reddy.

Sudheer Reddy who was on a Padayatra to Tirumala had reached Lakkireddypalle on Thursday, where he was greeted by the local people who welcomed him with garlands. After having darshan of the local deity, he addressed reporters gathered there.

Sudheer Reddy expressed hope that with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy becoming the Chief Minister of the State, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's regime was ushered in again. He hoped that his tenure would continue for another 20 years. He said that he was undertaking the Padayatra to Tirumala to pray for bountiful rainfall, so that the farmers and the people in the state would be happy.

Sudheer Reddy said that the former Telugu Desam party Rajya Sabha Member CM Ramesh was Chandrababu Naidu's 'benami'. Talking about the former TDP regime he said that they were nothing but a band of robbers and that CM Ramesh, Sujana Choudary were all Chandrababu's proxies who were there only to protect his interests and money. They moving to the BJP was only to save him and his properties, he criticised.

They can't even sit in the opposition for even half an hour, he derided. He also said that more than 16 TDP MLAs were ready to join the BJP and that it was an open secret. Sudheer Reddy also said that the founder of the TDP late NTR' soul was tormented with the way the party was headed. In both the Telugu States, the TDP was almost wiped out, he said.
