TDP Misused Public Funds On Pattiseema Project: Buggana Rajendranath

Finance Minister Bugguna Rajendranath Reddy accused the former TDP government of widespread corruption to the tune of Rs 400 crore in building Pattiseema Project - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Finance Minister Bugguna Rajendranath Reddy accused the former TDP government of widespread corruption to the tune of Rs 400 crore in building Pattiseema Project. He pointed out that even Comptroller and Audit General too observed the same.

He was speaking in the Assembly on Monday during the motion of thanks to Governor ESL Narasimhan’s speech. The TDP government with a misguided approach ignored Polavaram, which came to be known as ‘lifeline of Andhra Pradesh’, and invested in a temporary project called Pattiseema, he pointed out.

“The TDP government completely failed in making judicious use of the public funds,” he alleged.

The Finance Minister also said that the TDP government had left a debt burden of Rs 150 lakh crore on the State besides leaving dues to the tune of thousands of crore to several departments unpaid on the YSRCP government.
