Chandrababu Vs YS Jagan: Officials Sing Praises Of New AP CM’s Humble Demeanor
Amaravati: Over the past few days, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been conducting reviews of various departments in the state. Officials from finance, revenue, CRDA and health were overjoyed to see the new chief minister reach out to them cheerfully and also ask them for their suggestions. They said that his infectious friendliness was in sharp contrast to the cold, impassive manner in which former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu behaved at review meetings. Unlike YS Jagan, he never sought any suggestions from them but droned on indefinitely, they observed.

The young chief minister on the other hand, gave them a patient hearing, came prepared for the review meetings and sought their cooperation in implementing welfare schemes. His demeanor was laced with humility and graciousness, they remarked. When YS Jagan rises for lunch breaks at his review meetings with officials, he invites them for lunch to his residence, it is learned. This is a measure of how cultured he is as an individual, they pointed out. Observing that in contrast, Chandrababu Naidu always wore chief ministership on his sleeve.
