Probe All GOs Issued By Chandrababu Regime Over One Year: Anam

Nellore: Former minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy criticised the Chandrababu Naidu government for pushing the state of Andhra Pradesh into a deep financial crisis. Salaries had to be paid through loans under ways and means. Chandrababu, who brags of being an economic wizard, has now landed the state in a financial mess, Anam said.

The former minister pointed out that Chandrababu was making things difficult for officials by conducting reviews in violation of the election code. Moreover, he conducted these reviews to get bills for his handpicked contractors passed, Anam remarked. Chandrababu created a new system of plunder, he said.

Anam pointed out that under Chandrababu debt had risen while government assets did not grow. As per rules, any GO from the Finance department has to be uploaded on the government website, but funds were being misused in the name of confidential GOs, he said. He demanded a probe into these GOs and said that the Governor and chief secretary were apprised of the situation. They had requested the Governor and CS to order an inquiry into the matter and expose the conspirators behind the issue of such GOs, the former minister said. There should be a thorough probe into all GOs issued over the last one year, the former minister observed. Anam demanded the intervention of the Election Commission in the matter.
