Chandrababu Naidu Making Absurd Statements: Ramakrishna Reddy
Hyderabad: Senior YSR Congress Party leader and general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu enacted a drama on the eve of the April 11 election after coming to a conclusion that the people of the state were out to reject his rule.
He expressed his anger at Chandrababu Naidu’s absurd statement that a vote cast for one party went to another. He stated that 80 % polling had taken place in the state and that including members of Chandrababu Naidu’s family, no one had complained that a vote for a party went to another.
The question to be asked of Chandrababu Naidu is whether he himself had voted for the cycle or the fan, Ramakrishna Reddy said.
Addressing the media on Saturday, The senior YSRCP Leader said that Chandrababu Naidu began his drama a day before polling began and sat on a protest in front of the EC’s office to gain sympathy.
He pointed out that there were EVMs in 2014 as well when Chandrababu Naidu came to power. Should we then assume that EVM Tampering had taken place even then, he questioned.
He pointed out the grace with which YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had accepted the verdict of the people in the 2014 elections, in contrast with how the TDP chief was now behaving.
Ramakrishna Reddy further said that Doctors alone could evaluate Chandrababu Naidu’s mental health but the fact is that the Chief Minister of the state was behaving in a way which lowered the prestige of his office.
He pointed out that the office of the intelligence chief was not something related to the people. Chandrababu Naidu turned it into an office for his personal work. Normally the shifting of an intelligence chief should cause no inconvenience.
Chandrababu Naidu perhaps wanted all officials to behave like his slaves. Why did the AP government use staff of Narayana and Chaitanya Colleges when the services of government staff were available, he questioned.
He pointed out that the chief minister going to the DGPs office was not wrong but the Chief minister’s references to the top officials were inappropriate. He concluded by saying that people had hopefully delivered a decisive verdict favourable to the YSRCP.
