Chandrababu Questions EC’s Appointment Of Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, made inappropriate references to the chief secretary of the state LV Subramanyam in a media conference on Friday. Addressing the pressmen here Chandrababu Naidu referred to the chief secretary as a co-accused and covert agent. He questioned the appointment of the chief secretary on these counts.

Chandrababu Naidu sought to know how the chief secretary could go to the office of the DGP. Senior IAS officials and other bureaucrats are shell-shocked at the TDP supremo’s latest outburst. Chandrababu Naidu had earlier staged an unprecedented protest in the state secretariat against the election commission accusing it of taking arbitrary decisions. The central Election Commission had replaced the State’s chief secretary Anil Chandra Puneetha with LV Subramanyam, which was one of the triggers for Chandrababu’s outburst. Earlier, it had also transferred the DG Intelligence, AB Venkateswara Rao and the SPs of Srikakulam and YSR Kadapa Districts.
