Chandrababu’s Fear Of Defeat Evident: Vasireddy Padma

Fear of defeat driving TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to make baseless allegations, YSRCP spokesperson and senior leader Vasireddy Padma said on Thursday. She further said that yellow-shirted TDP leaders were going around polling booths, trying to influence voters and flouting the model code of conduct in place. Vasireddy Padma was addressing the media at the party central office in Vijayawada.
Within two hours of polling, Chandrababu Naidu came out with the strange demand of re-poll, she said which was an attempt to confuse voters and also a clear indication that he was overcome with fear of defeat. She further said that TDP leaders were preventing voters from stepping out and exercising their franchise. Vasireddy Padma said that the manner in which Chandrababu Naidu addressed the Chief Electoral Officer of the state, Gopalakrishna Dwivedi and the reckless attacks on YSRCP sympathizers and activists reflecte the sense of fear which overpowered Chandrababu Naidu and his partymen.
The YSRCP spokesperson condemned the attacks on partymen by Telugu Desam leaders and goons. One wonder whether one was living in a democratic set up, she said.
