Chandrababu, Radhakrishna of Andhra Jyothy Will Go To Jail: Vijayasai Reddy

YSRCP leader V Vijaysai Reddy - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy said that the YSRCP was headed for a landslide victory, while the TDP was set to lose in AP. TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Radhakrishna of Andhra Jyothy were well aware of this and were therefore, indulging in a smear campaign against the YSRCP and its leaders. Addressing the media in Hyderabad on Saturday, he added that people like Vemuri Radhakrishna of Andhra Jyothy who had actively helped Chandrababu as the AP CM was looting the state over the last five years, would also end up in jail with him.

Vijayasai Reddy flayed the TV channel ABN-Andhra Jyothy for publicizing issues with which he was in no way connected and tarnishing his reputation. The YSRCP Rajya Sabha member asserted that he would lodge complaints with the police authorities, EC and CEC in this regard. He would seek closure of the Andhra Jyothy newspaper and ABN-Andhra Jyothy news channel for bringing journalism into disrepute and would take to legal recourse in this respect, he said.

Rs. 1,500 Cr to Andhra Jyothy

Vijayasai Reddy further said that Vemuri Radhakrishna of Andhra Jyothy was among those who gained immensely from Chandrababu Naidu's plunder of state resources. The TDP chief was revealing his frustration with every passing day as he came to know that he was losing power. This is the reason why he tried to use Radhakrishna as a media megaphone and would eleborate on the falsehoods preached by Andhra Jyothy in his election rallies, the YSRCP leader said.

Vijayasai Reddy further said that Andhra Jyothy received advertisements to the tune of Rs. 1,500 crores. Besides this, Radhakrishna "misused his proximity to power and earned another Rs. 1,500 crores in settlements", Vijayasai Reddy remarked.

Andhra Jyothy, Caste Fixated

The YSRCP Rajya Sabha member said that ABN-Andhra Jyothy channel ran a false propaganda campaign against him which was part of a conspiracy. "The channel, using a person from Australia to impersonate my voice, ran a story as if I was being critical of my party chief (YS Jagan Mohan Reddy). I don't know certain words attributed to my voice. A forensic test would establish this. Andhra Jyothy is a caste-fixated media outlet which backs one particular community blindly. If Radhakrishna is a journalist in the real sense, he should prove the accusations against me. He is a person obsessed with his own caste and sold himself to TDP. We will complain to the police here since they maligned me here. In spite of all such conspiracies, YSRCP will emerge victorious," Vijayasai Reddy predicted.
