Let’s Usher In Golden Rule Of YSR
With the polling date drawing closer, the YSR Congress Party stepped up its campaigning and lashed out at TDP for its opportunist politics, spreading of blatant lies and appealed to the people to vote for credibility and bring back the time-tested YSR regime.
Taking Kuppam by the storm, Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu had represented the constituency for over 30 years of which he was chief minister for 14 years, yet he could not bring in a degree college or a polytechnic college. The two colleges had come up only when Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy was chief minister. Many villages in the constituency didn't even have primary schools.
He has chosen a constituency which has a big chunk of BC votes after he was thrown out from his home constituency of Chandragiri which squarely defeated him. Yet, he has shown no love for BCs who should have been the true representative of Kuppam, where the literacy levels are far less than the state average.
Chandrababu Naidu, had usurped Party and power from TDP founder president NTR, had deceived his own family members by transferring his mother’s property in Hyderabad in the name of his son, without giving any share to his younger siblings.
This shows the true nature of Chandarbabu Naidu. When he could deceive his close family members, how can he do justice to the people of the state, YS Jagan asked and said that marigold flowers which should be fetching Rs 30 per kg was being sold for just Rs 1 a kg and farmers were throwing away flowers on the road as a mark of protest. The constituency does not even have a market yard, which shows the priority Chandrababu gives to farmers.
At Jammalamadugu, the YSRCP President began his public meeting after observing one minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul of YS Vivekananda Reddy, who was recently murdered.
He said that his government will come to the rescue of AgriGold victims. The turncoat MLA of the region who has become a minister in the Chandrababu cabinet, is a close relative of Kesava Reddy who has collected money from gullible parents for their children’s education.
The fight is between credibility and opportunism and we are fighting against TDP and its agents who are floating rumours and debating it in the media. Besides manipulation, media management Chandrababu will also use money power to woo voters.
You have to be on guard and tell people not to get carried away by the short benefits offered by Chandrababu Naidu but explain in detail the long lasting benefits of the YSRCP Navaratnalu which covers all sections of the society.
In Guntur, YS Jagan said that the state had been building flats giving exorbitant rates to contractors for kickbacks and that the people had to bear the amount for a lifetime. When our government comes to power, the loans of Rs 3 lakh spread over a term of 30 years would be waived, he promised.
A Regulatory Commission would be formed to monitor the education system and the fee payment structure to encourage enrolment in government schools and improving the standards.
This apart, Universal Health Cards would be introduced to take care of the medicare, reservations will be created to locals and Special Category Status (SCS) will bring in new investments and new jobs.
YS Vijayamma and YS Sharmila who toured Godavari and Chittoor districts said that a vote for Chandababu would take the state backwards and that he had never fulfilled a single poll promise. He is trying to lure people, particularly women, with eleventh-hour sops while he has neglected them all the while which shows that he will again ignore them if he is voted to power.
The Navaratnalu are well packaged and women will get their loans waived in four instalments and the amount would be given to them directly. Women from weaker sections and minority will get Rs 75,000 for four years. The Amma Vodi scheme offers long term benefits with Rs 15,000 being credited into the mother’s account for sending their two children to school.
Fees will be given in full besides hostel and mess charges and medicare would be made affordable to weaker sections besides extending Aarogyasri to other cities. Pensions will be increased to Rs 3,000 and the copycat chief minister has no sincerity but only announces schemes and sops before elections and dilutes or deflates them after polls as he had done after 2014 elections.
Chandrababu has promised so much to the people that whatever amount he gives, still he cannot repay the amount what is due as during his entire term he did not care to fulfil the 650 poll promises. People have to ask the chief minister to pay the entire amount due to them and compute the entire amount due to them in the form of assurances.
