I-T Raids On TDP Leader Putta Sudhakar Yadav

Kadapa: The Income Tax department on Wednesday raided the residence of TDP candidate for Mydukur, Putta Sudhakar Yadav in Proddatur.

Calling it an 'election-eve conspiracy', Yadav told media that he and his infrastructure company had paid all taxes and there was nothing to hide.

However, the TTD Trust Board chairman expressed hope that he would get a clean chit irrespective of the attempts to 'tarnish' his image.

Meanwhile, MP C.M. Ramesh reached the spot asked the I-T officials if the Centre had sent them to conduct the I-T raids and target the TDP leaders.

After the officials left, Yadav's family announced that the team had not seized any property or documents from their residence.

Condemning the raid, APSRTC chairman Reddem Venkata Subba Reddy staged a protest.
