Congress Will Grant SCS To AP: Raghuveera

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee's (APCC) president N Raghuveera Reddy on Thursday said that the people of the country are fed up with the dictatorship of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last five years. He was addressing roadshows at Tekkali in Srikakulam district and Vizag city on Tuesday. He said that it was high time the political forces behind Modi is taught a lesson. He added that the people of Andhra have been cheated by the BJP Government as they were not granted the Special Category Status (SCS). They have also ignored other provisions in the AP Reorganisation Act- 2014 and the TDP had also failed to put pressure on the BJP for SCS.

He assured that the Congress will grant Andhra Pradesh with SCS and will honour the commitment given to them during the bifurcation. He promised that if Rahul Gandhi was made Prime Minister, his first signature would be to grant SCS to the state of AP. He appealed to the people to vote forCongresss candidates in the state for the state's brighter future.
