Babu...No Lokesh Campaign For Us, Plead TDP Candidates

Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh is turning out to be a political embarassment for his father and the party,as is widely known. Senior YSRCP leader and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy ridiculed the present political crisis in TDP caused by Lokesh’s constant bloopers in the public meetings.

It may be recalled that Lokesh recently appealed to voters to cast their franchise on April 9 instead of April 11 and criticizing Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao said that KCR, along with YS Jagan had hatched a conspiracy to shift Machilipatnam port to Telangana. In his tweet, Vijayasai Reddy said that Lokesh had become a source of amusement to audiences everywhere and candidates are finding it difficult to mobilize people for his rallies. In his tweet, the YSRCP Rajya Sabha member added that party leaders were calling up TDP office with an ultimatum not to send Lokesh to their constituencies for campaigning. He made fun of Nara Lokesh saying that his hilarious speeches were proving to be embarrassing for the party and this was brought to the notice of Chandrababu Naidu. Further, they asked the TDP chief to confine Lokesh to Mangalagiri.

In another tweet, Vijayasai Reddy referred to Farooq Abdullah’s prediction that Chandrababu would lose the election. The National Conference leader came to this conclusion looking at the absence of response from people, as also sparse crowds to Chandrababu’s election rallies. Abdullah is learned to have asked Chandrababu as to what he did over five years.
