TRS Candidate Nama Nageswara Rao Says Vote For Cycle
Khammam: Former TDP leader and current TRS Khammam Lok Sabha candidate Nama Nageswara Rao had a slip-of-tongue moment in a public meeting recently. The leader was in TDP, it was recently that he left the party and joined TRS. After joining TRS, he obtained the ticket to contest from Khammam LS seat.
Nama Nageswara Rao was associated with the TDP for almost 15 years, it was recently that he joined the TRS. Meanwhile, in a public meeting held as a part of the election campaign, he urged the people to vote of the symbol of the cycle not once but thrice. Later, the leaders standing by the side alerted him about his mistake and he had to cover up it up.
The video clip of the Nama taking the name of TDP symbol is going viral. Nama Nageswara Rao lost the Assembly election from the TDP and joined the TRS recently. From Congress party, senior leader Renuka Chowdary is contesting against him. In 2009, Nama Nageswara Rao then in TDP, won against Renuka Chowdary from the same Lok Sabha constituency.
