Corrupt TDP Delayed Chintalapudi Project: YS Jagan
Chintalapudi: Leader of the Opposition Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy hit out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in a massive election rally in Chintalapudi, West Godavari district.
YS Jagan addressed a mammoth crowd at the election meeting in the Chintalapudi constituency. He pointed out that the Chintalapudi lift irrigation which was started by the former Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy has been left incomplete by Chandrababu Naidu.
The YSRCP Chief observed that the farmers, who had lost their land in the project were given varying compensation in three different mandals that is Rs 22,00,000, Rs 19,00,000 and Rs 12,50,000. He recalled that the farmers put forward the bias in distributing the compensation in front of him. It is learnt the issue is now with the High Court.
YS Jagan remarked that Chandrababu was laying hurdles in the path to delay the project instead of completing it soon for the farmers. The YSRCP chief pointed out that the constituency lacked good health care services and that people had to travel 60 km all the way up to Eluru for better health services.
Other issues highlighted by YS Jagan are:
* The price of Palm oil varies up to Rs 1000 between AP and Telangana, which is one among the chief crops grown in the area.
* Poor condition of roads in Chintalapudi, especially from Chintalapudi till Namavaram. It was just a few days ago Chandrababu opened the pylon before elections, but no money has been sanctioned.
* People from the community of Nayakapodu are denied caste certificate despite being from the SC category.
The YSRCP Chief urged the people to vote for Elizah, the MLA candidate from YSRCP and Kotagiri Sridhar the MP candidate from Eluru constituency. YS Jagan promised the people present at the rally that the Navaratnalu will be implemented if YSRCP is voted to power.
