BJP Vows To Set Up SIT Probe Into TDP Corruption
Vijayawada: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its election manifesto for the state of Andhra Pradesh, at Vijayawada, on Tuesday. The manifesto was released by Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
The BJP assured the people of Andhra Pradehs that they will appoint a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the largescale corruption committed by the ruling TDP government if they are voted to power.
The national party promised to construct a permanent High Court in Rayalaseema. Their manifesto said that the current 13 districts would be made into 25, to ease the administration and decentralisation of power.
The manifesto also mentions the quick completion of the Polavaram project and other pending irrigation projects, along with the cleaning of the Godavari and Krishna rivers.
The BJP also offered freebies like free distribution of laptops to college students and 90% subsidy on the two-wheelers bought by female students pursuing their degree among others.
AP capital Amaravati is going to be developed with all the advanced amenities and other key cities in the state will be given due importance in terms of development, reads the BJP manifesto.
