Why YSRCP Hindupur MP Candidate Gorantla Madhav’s Wife Filed Nomination

Anantapur: YSR Congress Party(YSRCP) Hindupur parliamentary candidate Gorantla Madhav lashed out at the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, over the delay caused in his Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) acceptance process. Madhav pointed out that he had applied for VRS three months ago and it had not been accepted till now. He remarked that Intelligence Addl. DG Venkateswara Rao and Kurnool DIG were working under the guidelines issued by Chandrababu. "He (Chandrababu) is scared that I might win the Hindupur constituency and is using delaying tactics", Madhav said. The YSRCP candidate pointed out that the Tribunal had given a clear order to the AP government to process his retirement immediately.

Gorantla Madhav added that tomorrow both he and his wife would file their nomination papers and if his nomination gets rejected, his wife would contest from the constituency.
