Panabaka Offers 100 Coconuts To Tirupati Balaji

Tirupathi: Tirupathi Lok Sabha Seat Nominee from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Panabaka Lakshmi, started her campaign in the city by offering 101 coconuts to Lord Venkateswara at Alipiri on Saturday.

The 3-time Nellore MP was accompanied by the Tirupathi Constituency Telugu Desam assembly nominee and sitting legislator, M Suguna and her party cadre who came in procession to the Temple to offer the coconuts.

Addresing the media, Panabaka said that she aims for special category status for Andhra Pradesh and she also intended to see that all promises made to the people of Andhra Pradesh were fulfilled.

"I will strive for setting up the Dugarajapatnam Port, separate railway division with Tirupati as headquarters, realisation of NTPC-BHEL Power Projects Limited (NBPPL), and upgrading tourism infrastructure," she said.
