Father-Daughter Clash In Araku - Sakshi Post

In an interesting development, a father and daughter are fighting against each other in the upcoming elections. The father is contesting on the ticket of the ruling Telugu Desam Party and the daughter from Congress.

The father and daughter duo belonging to Varicherla family, the royal family of Kurupam.

Kishore Chandra Deo is a senior leader from the Congress party, after his 30 years stint in the Congress he had joined the ruling TDP recently and is contesting from the Araku Lok Sabha constituency.

His daughter Shruti Devi too has been a strong Congress leader, but she was dissatisfied with her father’s decision to join TDP and stayed back in Congress.

It was even reported that she dropped her plan to contest. Later, Sruthi Devi had been awarded the ticket of Araku from the Congress party.

In what can be called as family feud both the father and daughter have succeeded in getting tickets, who is going to win is the question.

Meanwhile, YSR Congress Party ticket for the parliament had been allocated to Goddeti Madhavi, a school teacher from a tribal family. This move by the YSRCP is being appreciated by the observers.
