Nara Lokesh Cites Code Violation To Step Into Church

Nara Lokesh - Sakshi Post

Tadepalli (Rural): Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's son and IT minister, Nara Lokesh conducted his election campaign in Nivulooru village on Tuesday. During the course of his canvassing, Lokesh was invited into the Baptist Church by community elders and the local pastor. Lokesh reportedly declined to go inside and instead, asked those in the church to come outside.

His response shocked the pastor and community elders some of whom asked him if he wanted God to step outside to meet him. Lokesh, who was taken aback tried to backtrack saying stepping into the church amounted to violation of the model code in force.

Lokesh, who then went to Bethapudi, wanted to visit the Ramalayam there, but one of his followers reminded him of the church and what he said about the code. Nara Lokesh seems to forget that when the same code was in force, he visited the Venugopalaswamy temple in Gundimeda of Tadepalli mandal on March 16. On that occasion, security men prevented others from entering the temple, while Lokesh conducted special poojas inside.
