DL Ravindra Reddy Set To Join YSRCP
Mydukuru: Former minister DL Ravindra Reddy announced on Wednesday that he was soon going to join the YSR Congress Party. He stated this after a meeting with senior YSRCP leaders, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and YS Avinash Reddy. DL said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had called him up and sought his services for the YSR Congress Party.
DL Ravindra Reddy said that he had been a member of the YSR family for a long time and that he would meet party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and join the party soon. He added that he would organise a major public meeting in the area soon.He would work to stregthn the party in the region. YS Jagan said that a senior leader like him should fill the void created by the loss of YS Vivekananda Reddy, DL observed.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the party was pleased to welcome DL Ravindra Reddy. His entry into the YSRCP had filled party cadre with enthusiasm, he remarked. He added that YS Jagan had assured DL of a special position once the party comes to power. Former Kadapa MP, YS Avinash Reddy remarked that DL Ravindra would fill the vaccuum created by the passing away of their uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy.
