Chandrababu Naidu - Sakshi Post

Kurnool/ Anantapur/ Kadapa Rural: TDP president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday admitted to not considering the representations submitted by the Opposition party MLAs for various welfare works.

While addressing a public meeting in Kurnool, Chandrababu shared that on several occasions, the representations from YSR Congress party were presented to him but he never considered since they were from the Opposition party.

At the meeting, Chandrababu introduced Panyam Assembly candidate Gouru Charitha, who won on the YSRC ticket in 2014 elections and recently joined the TDP.

In a candid admission, the Chief Minister went on to add that he worked for his party MLAs and hasn't worked for the people in the state.

Chandrababu participated in the TDP election campaign in Kurnool, Anantapur, and Kadapa. Speaking at the Kurnool meeting, he said that TDP candidate Tikka Reddy was attacked in Mantralayam adding that such attacks won't be taken lightly.

However, the district SP confirmed that the TDP candidate was injured due to the misfiring from his gunmen and that no other individuals were involved. The two gunmen have also been suspended in this regard.

Even with the police confirming the situation, Chandrababu attempted to cover up the facts by presenting the incident as an attack. During his public meetings, the Chief Minister spent most of his time on criticizing YSR Congress party President and Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Stating that he has implemented welfare schemes for the poor, Chandrababu, citing this, sought votes for TDP's victory in the upcoming elections.
