Bhuma Akhila Priya Constituency Allagadda Synonymous With Unlawful Activities

Allagadda: YSR Congress Party leaders from the Sirivella Mandal, Allagadda constituency were murdered by rivals from the Telugu Desam Party, who are close aides of a minister.

YSRCP leaders Induru Prabhakar Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivasa Reddy supporters of Allagadda YSRCP in charge and MLC Gangula Prabhakar Reddy were brutally murdered by close aides of Bhuma Akhila Priya.

In similar such instances:

On February 12, 2019, a Dalit woman from S Lingamdinne village, Allagadda was sexually harassed by the bodyguard C Srinivasulu of Minister Akhila Priya. The woman had to leave her husband’s house in shame. Later, her husband attempted suicide and the case is being investigated.

In December 2019, ministers aides attacked physically handicapped Dastagiri from S Lingamdinne because his motor bike came in their way.

In October 2018, TDP leaders attacked Balaiah and even constable Nagi Reddy was injured in the incident.

On 21 March 2015, a fight broke out between two groups at Boyabonthiralla village, Krishnagiri Mandal over a land issue. People from both sides were injured in the fight and cases were filed against both the groups. However, with the support of the police, ruling party was given a clean chit while YSRCP supporters had to face charges under Section-307, this case is still pending in the Court.

In SH Yerragudi village, Krishnagiri mandal on the 13th July 2018, YSRCP supporters were hit by TDP leaders over the removal of illegal constructions surrounding a well belonging to the Dalit community. When the YSRCP supporters went to lodge a complaint with the police regarding the caste based abuse by TDP leaders, police did not heed them.

In Madanantapuram, Kolimigundla mandal, YSRCP supporters were attacked by TDP leaders claiming that the former had denied way through the farm land to the latter. YSRCP supporters were attacked for the second time when they were on their way to the police station. However, police have not filed any case on the attackers but instead lodged a case againsty the YSRCP workers.
