Righteousness Will Prevail: YS Jagan On TDP’s Murder Politics

Pulivendula (YSR Kadapa dist): Squarely blaming the ruling party for the murder of former MP, YS Vivekananda Reddy, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the TDP leadership was either in power or was aware of the conspiracy whenever a ‘death occurred in his family’ and demanded a CBI probe into the incident to bring out the facts.

He appealed to the people not to react and maintain calm and keep their poise in the hour of crisis as they will overcome the might of the situation and righteousness will prevail.

‘When my grandfather YS Raja Reddy was murdered TDP was in power, when there was an attempt on my life at Vizag airport, TDP was in power and when this murder happened, TDP was again in power. Two days before the helicopter crash in which my father Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy died, Chandrababu Naidu told the assembly that you (YSR) will not return and his remarks were boldly published in his favoured media, he said after paying tributes to YS Vivekananada Reddy here on Friday.

On all the occasions, there was a conspiracy and the details could come out in full only when there is an independent agency. We will submit representations to all the authorities concerned for a central probe as the ongoing investigation cannot be relied upon, he added.

The police are trying to divert the attention with wrong leads and fabricated evidence which they have did even when there was an attack on me at the airport and have brought out a letter purportedly written by my uncle before dying which defies all logic.

The person who was murdered with hatchets in his bedroom, was being shown as if he had walked up to the bathroom and died by collapsing due to loss of blood which is mere fabrication of the situation. A man in such a situation writing a letter is impossible but the letter has surfaced involving the driver.

There are attempts to involve the driver only to sidetrack the investigation and shield the culprits and that is the very reason why we have been seeking a CBI probe, he said.

Meanwhile, the Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha member V Vijayasai Reddy told the media in Hyderabad that YS Vivekananda Reddy was murdered following a conspiracy that was hatched by the TDP leadership and the local player.

The recent attack on the Leader of Opposition at Vizag airport and the subsequent cover-up operations by DGP, Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues show that there has been a conspiracy and this murder has once again proved the murder politics of TDP leadership along with the turncoat from Jammalamadugu who could get a cabinet berth in the Chandrababu Naidu ministry.

We had demanded the transfer of DGP, but the nexus between TDP –BJP has helped him stay put in the seat despite such glaring partiality along with other top official in the intelligence.

The TDP has been trying to unleash false propaganda that family rift is the cause for the murder but that is mere diversion tactics, he said.

The TDP has been involved in all the murders that took place during the past five years.
