Nara Lokesh Joins The Land Mafia Bandwagon

Office of the Chief Commissioner Of Land Administration is the nodal agency in assigning lands, which surpasses all other departments in the revenue issues.

However, The local authorities have neglected the orders of CCLA and offered lands at throwaway prices to E-centric solutions. This firm is owned by a friend of Minister Nara Lokesh. It is reported that this act of Lokesh pressuring the cabinet to get this done has irked many.

CCLA has priced an acre of land to be allocated at Rs 7.26 crore. But, the land has been given away at Rs 50,00,000 and a total of 50 acres have been allocated to this firm.

The total price at which the land was supposed to be allocated was Rs 363 crore, but, the company is paying only Rs 25 crore causing a loss of Rs 338 crore to the government exchequer.

The ‘Government Order 428’ was released on November 12, 2015, granting the 50 acres of the land to E- centric solutions. The land is located in the neighbourhood of Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam.
