YSRCP Set For Landslide Victory In AP: Survey
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is reported to conducted a survey to find out the pulse of the voters in the wake of upcoming elections in the Telugu states.
It is learnt that the results of the party's survey revealed a landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh for the YSR Congress Party led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Surveys conducted by the ruling TRS are considered authentic and are frequently conducted by the party on various issues such as viability of new schemes and choice of candidates among other things.
The party's surveys were the basis to a large extent for the selection of candidates in the December elections to the state Assembly.
Of the 175 assembly constituencies in AP, the TRS survey predicts a win for the YSRCP in over a 100 seats. Interestingly, the ruling TDP would be relegated to about 60 seats at best, results of the survey reveal.
As is widely being foreseen by political observers, the BJP and Congress will have very little impact on the election.
The Jana Sena is restricted to certain areas in the state in terms of its influence, the survey predicts, according to sources.
