Pocha Brahmananda Reddy joins YSRCP

Hyderabad: There has been an influx of politicians and people drawn from various segments of society into the YSR Congress Party, over the past few weeks. On Friday, well-known industrialist from Nandyal, Pocha Brahmananda Reddy in Kurnool district joined the YSRCP in the presence of Party President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Brahmananda Reddy said that he was drawn to the YSRCP inspired by YS Jagan's mass contact initiative, Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He said the Padayatra gave him a deep insight into the policies and welfare-oriented thinking of the YSRCP President. He was particularly impressed by Navaratnalu, Brahmananda Reddy said.

The Nandyal industrialist remarked that he would follow the diktats of the party leadership. He would work to further the interests of the party, Brahmananda Reddy added. He pointed that his political journey began with the YSRCP. Brahmananda Reddy recalled that back in 2005, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy had appointed him a University Board member and he continued to serve in that position for 6 years, he observed. Rajya Sabha member and senior YSRCP leader V. Vijayasai Reddy was also present on the occasion.
