Who Is IT Grids CEO Ashok Dakavaram?

IT grids CEO with Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh - Sakshi Post

The founder CEO of IT Grids India Pvt Ltd hails from Andhra Pradesh and returned to India after working abroad for some years. In 2013, he found his firm, IT Grids India and was sought out by some candidates, as also political parties to assess the mood of voters. Ashok Dakavaram's firm developed at least five mobile applications for AP government's welfare schemes apart from seva mitra app for the Telugu Desam Party. In the seva mitra app, a party worker who is termed Seva Mitra is assigned a polling booth for which he is supposed to collect details of voters in the jurisdiction of that particular booth. Personal information such as caste and political preferences are also included the twist is that further details including benefits of government schemes Aadhaar card number, voter ID number and bank account details were synced, thus making it easy for a designated user to delete/add voters.
What is baffling is that the list came out with color photographs, addresses, mobile numbers and benefits of welfare schemes being received.

Needless to say, harvesting such data amounts to violation of an individual's privacy and can attract penal provisions of IPC.As TRS working president pointed out on Monday morning, the Cyberabad police have already booked a case under various provisions of the law under Section 66 and 72 of the IT Act. If Ashok Dakavaram is innocent and is being targeted as Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and IT minister Nara Lokesh have been shouting from rooftops, why doesn't he come clean and respond to the summons of the Cyberabad police? Social media is abuzz with rumours that he is hiding in Amaravati while the Cyberabad police are reported to have sent notices to him via WhatsApp as the doors of his house in Hyderabad were found locked.
