Votes Deletion Part Of TDP Conspiracy: Buggana Rajendranath Reddy
Hyderabad/Amaravati: YSRCP senior leader, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy on Monday questioned as to how the information regarding the public gathered by the government had reached private companies.
Referring to IT Minister Nara Lokesh's statement that the information will be utilized for the development, he said that the removal of votes of YSRCP from the voters' list is also part of their conspiracy.
Speaking at a media briefing in the party headquarters in Hyderabad on Monday, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said, "They have collected voter information in the name of surveys and split the voters into four categories. They excluded those voters who expressed their dissatisfaction with the government."
He further said, "In the past, government teachers used to register and remove voters. Now, it is being done by Anganwadi workers, who are being pressurized by the members of the Janma Bhoomi Committee. They have placed the details of the people in the state in a data hub. According to the law, a case is registered and investigated where the crime is committed. But they want to investigate the case in Andhra Pradesh even though the offense was committed in Hyderabad."
Stating that they developed a mechanism to remove voters from the voter list by utilizing the Seva Mitra App to garner information on the voters, the YSRCP leader said, "Why is Chandrababu Naidu fearing the investigation? TDP is selling the personal information of the public to private companies. They have given this information to BlueFrog, IT Grid companies."
Pointing out that the IT Grid company came into existence in 2014 with TDP governance, he questioned as to why the data of the voters were removed from the App once the IT grid scam broke out.
Elaborating further, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said, "Every person who downloaded the Seva Mitra app, their details including phone numbers, Bank accounts are in the database of IT Grid. Authorities are ignoring the issue even though complaints have been filed in this regard."
Stating that the public information is in jeopardy, he asked the public in the state to change their bank account passwords.
The YSRCP leader said, "Aadhaar Committee, Election Commission, Cyber Crime Police should launch an investigation into the IT Grid scam."
