No Jr NTR For TDP Campaign?

Jr NTR - Sakshi Post

Following the sudden demise of Nandamuri Harikrishna, the Nandamuri family united. TDP National President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Hindupur MLA Balakrishna fielded Nandamuri Suhasini in Kukatpally.

However, Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram didn't campaign for their sister. Jr NTR wished his best on Twitter for her entry into the public service but didn't extend any support for the TDP.

Earlier, the actor campaigned extensively for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 2009 elections. While the party lost the elections, NTR chose to stay away from the political scene owing to some differences that cropped up between him and TDP.

Surprisingly, Jr NTR’s father-in-law Narne Srinivasa Rao joined the YSR Congress party. He met YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday and announced his support for the party.

Also, NTR’s grandson and former Union minister Daggubati Purandeswari's son, Hitesh Chenchuram joined the YSR Congress Party recently. He along with his father Daggubati Venkateswara Rao met the YSRCP Chief.

Jr NTR was never seen in attendance at the TDP activities post the 2009 election campaign. Other than NTR, other members from Nandamuri family such as Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nara Lokesh moved their focus towards politics after 2009 elections. While NTR didn't campaign for TDP in 2014 elections, his brother Kalyan Ram assisted his uncle Balakrishna in the election campaign. With the upcoming elections, the TDP is campaigning in full swing. However, it looks like Jr NTR would not be participating in the election campaign this time as well.
