Jr NTR’s Father-In-Law Joins YSRCP
Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam Party(TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu received a shocking blow again today. With the continuous influx of TDP leaders leaving TDP, including his own co - brother Daggubati Venkateswara Rao and his son Hitesh joining the YSRCP, now another close family member of Chandrababu has joined the YSRCP.
Narne Srinivasa Rao, to be more specific popular Tollywood actor Jr NTR's father-in-law joined the YSRCP today. He met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Hyderabad, who welcomed him into the party fold.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting Srinivasa Rao said, that Chandrababu's governance was in dire straits and that he was joining the party to ensure that YS Jagan wins the state elections in 2019. He also said that he had friendly ties with YS Jagan and his family members for more than ten years.
Srinivasa Rao also clarified that Jr NTR had nothing to do with his decision to join the YSRCP and also expressed the fact they he may not contest the upcoming elections and his only aim was to see that YS Jagan wins and is made the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh , he concluded.
Narne Srinivasa Rao's wife Malleswari is Chandrababu Naidu's niece and it may be recalled that Chandrababu was the mediator for Jr NTR and Lakshmi Pranathi's ( his daughter) marriage.
Jr NTR has distanced himself from politics and the TDP and this was quite evident when he refrained from canvassing for his half- sister Nandamuri Suhasini who contested from the Kukatpally assembly seat on a TDP ticket at the behest of Chandrababu in the December elections held in Telangana and eventually lost.
Narne Srinivasa Rao is a prominent realtor heading a company called Narne Infrastructure Private Limited and also headed a regional TV channel called Studio N for some time.
