Ambati Rambabu Poses 10 Questions To Kodela On Corruption 

Sattenapalli/Guntur: Reacting sharply to TDP leader Kodela Siva Prasada Rao's comments on him, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) State Official Representative Ambati Rambabu said that Kodela's political life was riddled in factionalism.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday at the YSRCP Office in Sattenapalli, he reminded Kodela about the 1999 incident, where more than four people were killed in a bomb blast at his residence-cum- hospital at Narasaraopet in Guntur district. He said that people knew the truth about what actually happened then and his political life itself describes who the actual factionist was.

It is amusing to see that he talks about law and order, when he himself has provoked people in the name of caste, creed, and encouraged feuds amongst them, Ambati said.

Ambati also said that had Kodela's children been restrained four and half years ago , the people of Sattenapalli and Narasaraopet would have been living peacefully by now.

Ambati Rambabu said that there were hundreds of allegations about Kodela and his family's corrupt activities in Guntur. If not hundred, Ambati dared him to answer just these ten questions if he was really innocent.

- Is it not true that a bungalow worth Crores of rupees was built on an illegally occupied land belonging to a temple land in Raghuram Nagar in Sattenapalli ? Was it built with your money or contractor Daruvuru Nagesawara Rao's money?

- Is it not true that an 18-acre land abutting Sattenapalli-Piduguralla Highway which belonged to a farmer named Godugula Subba Rao was forcibly occupied in connivance with land officials and local police? Was it not registered under the name Sasi Infra which belonged to your benami ?

- Is it not true that you threatened the contractor working for the Nadikudi-Srikalahasthi Railway line and demanded Crores of Rupees from them? When they did not heed to the threats, their cars, work sheds were destroyed and wasn't the matter taken up for solving with a Union Minister and the Chief Minister?

- Is it no true when the state animal husbandry department was to provide fodder ( straw and grass) to farmers and from this didn't your daughter Vijayalakshmi take Rs 40 Crore under benami names?

- Is it not true that a mall which was built in Guntur Naz Center for more than Rs 200 Crore , and the construction material was procured from Sattenapalli Contractors?

- Is it not true that in the Sattenaplli- Narsaraopeta area your family members own Safe Company which supplies medicines to medical shops and that these shop owners were threatened to stock and sell these medicines? If the medical shop owners refused to sell these medicines, weren't the Drug inspectors sent to harass them and false cases foisted on them?

- Is it not true that the police threatened sand lorries to supply sand for the construction of a mall on a land that was taken on lease from the RTC in Narsaraopet.

- Is it not true that 150 meal parcels were taken every day from the Anna Canteens in Sattenapalli and Narsaraopet and sold at Rs 30 per plate to your employees working in your Safe Company?

- Is it not true that employees working in your son's Hero Honda Show room were harassed and given targets to sell vehicles from there only?

Is it not true that targets were set for each government departments in the Sattenapalli and Narsaraopet constituencies to collect bribes and the officials were harassed to collect these bribes?

Ambati predicted that Kodela's political career had come to an end and that if he swore on Lord Trikoteswara Swami that he had not taken bribes or indulged in corrupt activities, Ambati would consider not criticising him any further.
